About This Item
London: The New English Library, 1976. First edition, first printing. Published by The New English Library in London, 1976. This is a fine copy. The dust wrapper has some very slight shelf wear present and light toning to the top right-hand corner. It has not been price clipped, showing the original £4.50 net price. The boards, in original publishers black cloth, are clean and free from chips and marks; the gilt titling is without wear. The text blocks are clean throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink. Overall, this is a fine copy of a scarce title. Following The Rats and The Fog, this is the authors third published work.
