Contains black and white photographic frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Pages are moderately tanned, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscriptions to front endpapers. Tape remnants to endpapers. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with some marking also. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket. Moderate tanning to spine, edges and joints. Moderate edgewear, with noticeable chipping, tearing and creasing, and slight loss to spine ends.
