First edition and first full length Superman novel. With 10 full page illustrations - four of them in color- by famous Superman illustrator Joe Shuster. The Cover is in fair condition with shelf wear particularly along cover edges and wear and tears along spine. Light soiling and light age toning on a few pages. Pages predominantly in very good condition. Illustrations in excellent condition; however, the illustration on page 153 has separated from the binding.
