About This Item
London: Chapman & Hall, (1933). First edition.. Green cloth, front cover stamped in blind, spine lettered in gilt. A library copy, with the Montreal West Circulating Library sheet affixed to the front end paper. Some numbers written in pencil on the rear end papers, rubbing to edges, small marginal stains, a very good copy in a rather nice copy of the dust jacket. The jacket has light chipping at the spine ends, a short tear along the front hinge, but is very good otherwise. An uncommon book, rarely seen in the dust jacket. Ianthe Jerrold was the granddaughter of Douglas Jerrold, Victorian playwright.
