Synopsis
Ilona Van Mil was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and attended the University of Waterloo. She moved to the U.K. in the mid-1970s, and worked for a while in journalism. Her court reporting soon led her to law school, and she now teaches property law at the University of Essex. She is currently at work on her second novel, also set in Canada. From the Hardcover edition.
