The binding is intact but rather tired (boards rubbed, spine dulled, light chafing of the upper joint); the endpapers are browned, but the contents are in sound condition (some light spotting). Only a fair copy overall, but suitable as a reading, working or reference copy.

Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Tanning to front and rear endpapers. Mottling to boards.

Rubbing to top of spine. Mild bumping to edges. Previous owner's inscription to ffep. Very mild tanning to page edges. Otherwise clean and sound. A nice example. Good/very good.
