Covers worn. Binding cracked at inner pastedowns. Inner book is generally very clean with occasional marks. 284pp + 87pp illustrated with 17 guarded coloured plates and numerous other illustrations throughout. Contents include articles on the Art of 1899, the Work of Cecilia Beaux, William de Morgan and his Pottery (beautifully illustrated), Modern German Lithography, Country and Suburban Houses Designed by Ernest Newton, Home Arts and Industries Exhibition, Paris Salons, both fine and applied arts and many more. Bound with the French edition: Le Studio Revue Illustrée D’Art Our et D’Art Appliqué Française Volume XVII; 87pp. The Studio was known for its championing of new designers and was instrumental in the progression of the Arts and Crafts movement as well as Art Nouveau.
