About This Item

Dover, 1962. Soft cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. A fascinating instruction and history book about the incredibly wide variety of "cat's cradle" type games played by indigenous populations around the world. Originally published in 1902 as "String Figures", this is a Dover reprint in quite respectable condition, with a stray ink scrbble on the front endpaper, otherwise unmarked and clean internally, with a little wear to corners.
