Hardcover. ; Orange cloth cover with color pictorial is discolored and soiled with wear to corners and spine caps and bumped upper corners. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Former ower's name on front end sheet. Frontispiece protected by tissue. Pages are lightly soiled from handling but in very good condition. .
Synopsis
The Story of Doctor Dolittle is a 1920 book about Doctor John Dolittle and his animals. This book is the first in a series of children's books by Hugh Lofting. Doctor Dolittle is a doctor who can speak with the animals in their own languages. He starts treating animals instead of human patients.
