Issued in an edition limited to 420 copies, this copy signed by the author on the limitation leaf but not numbered. Soundly bound and neat; mild shelf tapping bottom front corners; superficial toning to cloth at spine. Here and there a thumb smudge to a pgae; tiny spot of soiling front board. Illustrated with tissue guarded color plates and 159 high quality half-tones of examples. Includes facsimile documents and manuscript entries. Uncommon in condition. VG ...
