Full leather covers with gilt ruling, five raised bands, front joint tender and starting to split, normal wear to boards. The 2nd edition of Burnet's posthumously printed work on the state of the dead and resurrection, wherein he wrestles with the interaction (if any) between departed souls and daily life. Burnet was an interesting English theologican and was admired by Newton, partly because of his "Hollow Earth" theory to explain the great amount of waters released on the earth during the Biblical flood. Stated second edition. Entirely in Latin. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 432 pages .
