About This Item
70 pages with corrections in the authors hand, and a lengthy addition on the final blank, signed by the author. Printed by Lebanon Graphics, Lebanon, NH, March 1978. Quite scarce. A well-illustrated history of one of the most famous and horrific stories of a kidnapped White woman by Native Indians during the raid of Haverhill, MA in March of 1697. A hero to many, murderer to others, and very controversial. This is the only one I have seen to be so well illustratedwith photographs.
