About This Item

New York: William Morrow, 1961. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Mircea Vasiliu (cover). A thoroughly enjoyable novel with overtones of real social significance. "The power of rumor, the influence of the press, the warped righteousness of good people, and the bliss of young romance..." 159 pages. CONDITION: A NEAR FINE book in VERY GOOD dust jacket. The book is bright, tight, square, and unmarked, with minimal shelf-wear. Its vivid dust-jacket is unmarked and uncreased. Its front fold-over is not price-clipped but the other three corners are trimmed. The front folder has a small patch of tape residue and the rear fold-over has a faint wisp of red in a blank area. This is a handsome and highly collectible copy!
