One of 500 numbered copies, signed by Johnson and Davenport. Printed by Heritage Printers of Charlotte, NC, on Fabriano and Cockerell paper, with a central spread of French marbled paper. An elegant production, published as Jargon 72.

New York: The Jargon Society, 1969. Original wraps. Very Good +. Guy Davenport. The 1969 1st edition, #211 OF 500 COPIES SIGNED BY BOTH RONALD JOHNSON AND GUY DAVENPORT at the limitation. Crisp and VG+ in its stapled, pictorial wrappers, with very light creasing and chipping --and one small closed tear-- alog the upper-edges. "Printed in the autumn of 1969 by Heritage Printers, Chalotte, North Carolina, for distribution among those friends of the Jargon Society who may be lacking their own private winter garden. The type is Palatino; the papers are Fabriano, Cockerell, and French marbled. The design is by Jonathan Williams." This copy belonged to photographer Art Sinsabaugh, who signed his name in pencil at the top of the front free endpaper.
