The first part of the volume, paginated, deals with a theme related to the book trades (here an overview of printing under the Ancien Régime).
The second part contains many specimens presenting the media and printing processes new or used at the time. Prospectus; advertisements for major magazines; picture boards and book covers. they are supplied by the major manufacturers.
Paperback, illustrated cover. The book has been handled with part of paper spine missing. 12.5 inches tall; Illustrated with color plates on cardstock. Text in French. 108pp., Then not paginated, then 56pp. ads. The last pages contain professional announcements. The Christmas numbers of the Bulletin of the Union of Master Printers are spectacular "technological showcases".
