London: Chiswick Press/Charles Whittingham and Co, 1897. Octavo. Signed by the author in the year of publication. A book divided into two sections. The first section is devoted to the book i.e. MS. for the press, correction of proofs, copyright, casting off copy and more. Section two demonstrates the various typefaces used and various specimens of paper. Laid in is the postal label used to ship the book from the Chiswick Press in London to the collector in Chicago. Also laid in are to examples of the Chiswick press printer's marks. Bound in white cloth, spine lettering red, covers with toning or foxing, internally clean with the exception of some of the paper samples at rear with some scattered foxing. A very good copy.
