FIRST EDITION (1919), LIMITED TO 575 DELUXE NUMBERED COPIES, THIS BEING No.82, SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. 4to, 292 x 230 mm, 11½ x 9 inches, vellum backed cream boards, different gilt vignettes to upper and lower boards, gilt lettering to upper cover and spine, top edges gilt, the rest uncut, pages: (12), 170. 16 beautiful colour plates mounted on white paper, captioned tissue guards, 24 line drawings in the text. Spine slightly rubbed and slightly discoloured, tiny crease at head of spine, boards just very slightly darkened along the edges, front endpaper lightly browned, contents very nice, no inscriptions.
