Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Visible wear and water marks to spine and boards.
Synopsis
Smoke Bellew is a sweeping adventure. The novel's main character is Christopher Bellew, a San Francisco journalist who heads to Alaska to cover the latest gold rush. As happens with Jack London's tales, it turns into a rough experience that transforms the young dandy into a tough survivor.
