(London): Printed for Subscribers Only, 1904. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. Limited edition. Seven volumes. Small quartos. Approximatley 2,700pp. Half leather and Japon vellum gilt, with wide margins and edges untrimmed (save for the final two volumes, which have topedges gilt). Binding with moderate wear and Japon vellum spotted, spines sunned and gutters neatly strengthened in a couple of places, Volume I with the Japon vellum on the lower board a bit loose (but sound), offsetting on endpapers, page edges toned and margins lightly so, a bit of occasional light scattered foxing, a very good set. One of 750 copies Signed by Farmer on the limitation page of Volume I. A classic in the field.
