Hurd And Houghton. NY., 1869 Book size about 6 by 7 3/4 inches with some 192 pages. Bound in blue cloth over beveled boards with front cover gilt illustration and gilt spine lettering and decoration. Illustrated with numerous full page and smaller drawings by the author. What used to be called 'The Grand Tour' around Europe with the author writing and sketching what he did and saw. Book with wear through at tips; spine darkened; wear at spine top/bottom; previous owner writing inside at front. GOOD. 2nd Edition.. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
