Prev owner name inked small on ffep. Blue boards w gold lettering and crest on front cover, gold lettering on spine. Corners bumped, moderate shelf wear to bottom edges. Binding square and sound. Colour illustrated DJ shows mild soiling commensurate w age, shallow chipping to head and tail. Two 2cm chips and wear to back bottom edge, 6x2.5cm chip to top front edge. DJ now preserved in BroDart cover.
This book is the first to be written about the married life of the King and Queen since the Accession, marking the Silver Wedding of Their Majesties on April 26, 1948. It is an authentic and fascinating record of twenty-five Royal years.
