Very slight creasing to top edge of unclipped dustwrapper, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this soft-cover book. Originally published in 1907, and published by Persephone in an abridged form (reduced in length by a quarter, but still 476pp, they liked their novels long back then). in 2007, this is a later reprint from 2014., this is a the story deals with American heiresses marrying English aristocrats. A 1918 silent film was based on the book. Preface by Anne Sebba. 476pp.. Paperback. Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
