Methuen, 1923. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Katharine Roberts. In very good condition in scarce good to very good dust jacket. Jacket has partial loss to top of spine and is chipped to the corners otherwise very good and now in protective sleeve. Red buckram boards with gilt titles to spine and bline tooled titles and Town crest to front board. Boards and internally clean throughout. Both a history and a guide to the town of Shrewsbury. Originally published in 1905, this edition has been fully revised by the Author's daughter, Henrietta Auden. Profusely illustrated with 15 full page drawings and numerous smaller sketches to the text.
