Clean book club edition in very attractive dust jacket. Clean beige boards with maroon lettering on spine. No bumping, fading or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages are clean; previous owner name and address neatly penned on front free endpaper. 241 pages. Clean illustrated jacket has slight wear at spine ends, one short closed edge tear, a little wear to flap folds. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Back home in Ohio, Mrs. Pickett was the very model of a society editor. But this was Paris, France. She didn't let her hair down, she whacked it off!.
