[5]-114 pages. Black and white vignettes. Several black and white reproductions of archival photos, mostly of significant local persons and churches. Inside back board a prior owner has affixed a highly informative chronology of significant local historical events dating from 1800 through 1926, plus a list of the former names of several local communities. Above-average wear to original maroon cloth ruled and decorated in black. Two-inch opening at top of back hinge. Narrow opening in binding at pages 65, 89 and 101. No dust jacket, presumably as issued. A most wonderful early record of the proud and fascinating history of this area. Bishop p.1086, Morley p.26.; 8vo .
