Quarto (10 3/4" x 7 3/4"), brown quarter buckram with gold lettering on spine over pictorial boards depicting images of Will & associates on glossy printed paper, profusely illustrated with 154 photos with 99 in color and reproductions of documents, designed by Chris Wadden, printed at Cambridge University Press, pictorial endpapers with map details from The Copper Plate map of London, 308 pages. Mottled cream slipcase. Katherine Duncan-Jones, FRSL (born 1941) is an English literature and Shakespeare scholar. After tenures at Cambridge and Oxford, she became Professor of English Literature at Oxford from 1998 to 2001. A wonderful blend by an eminent scholar of Shakespeare that masterfully integrates his words with images from his world. EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION: Very tight, bright, clean copy. Strong clean slipcase has minute traces of wear. Bibliography: Folio 60, number 1202.
