About This Item
HARDBACK. Hand Signed, in person, by the author, Louise Erdrich, directly to the Full Title page. Brand New, FIRST Edition, FIRST Printing copy. Beautiful condition. Never Owned. NOT Remaindered, NOT Inscribed, NOT Ex-library, NOT Book Club Edition, NOT Price clipped, or Read. Opened only to Sign. The book has no flaws. NOT signed on a PUBLISHER tipped-in, or laid-in page, or bookplate as many books are today! (Note: Publishers are now attempting to pass off books as "Signed" by inserting author-signed sheets or "Specially Bound by the Publisher" pages that are inserted at the time of printing!). Shadow Tag by Louise Erdrich. The bestselling author of many critically acclaimed novels, including the Pulitzer Prize finalist The Plague of Doves and National Book Award finalists The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse and The Round House. First Edition, First Printing, hand SIGNED by the author on full title page. No inscription; full signature only. From an event at The New Yorker Festival in New York City on October 6, 2012. Publication date: February 2, 2012. ALWAYS wrapped securely for added protection. I may have multiple copies of this book for sale. If I do, all were signed the same day, at the same signing event, at the same time, using the same pen by the author. I use only one listing photo of the signed book page for all the listings, and each signature page, naturally, may be slightly different. I welcome any questions you might have. BS000929.
Reviews
A plot that delves into the nexus of French and American fine arts, perennial relationship challenges, and Native American culture. Gripping page turner finished in one night. There is an ennui only a suffering wife and martyred mother could understand the intrigue of emotional blackmail, with a backdrop of alcoholism and domestic violence, the turning of the tables and the sadistic vicious cycles that ensue. Lots of twists with a provocative allegorical grand finale.
