About This Item
Samuel French, 1977. 1st Edition . Staple-bound (Soft Cover). Very Good. First publication of Mamet's work, inscribed and SIGNED by the playwright on the title page: "Dale & Sandy - May you be amused by both plays & recognize yourselves in one of them. - 1 April 78". Inscription is accompanied by a small drawing of a fish beneath the phrase "Poisson D'Avril", an allusion to the calendar date on which the book was inscribed. Green wrappers are faded toward stapled spine, otherwise excellent. Pages are lightly toned but otherwise unmarked.
