Faber and Faber, 1954. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1954. First edition thus. 127 pages. Red jacket over blue cloth with gilt titles to spine. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Pronounced marginalia, underlining and other annotations. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Ex libris plate to front endpaper. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Unclipped jacket in poor condition, with large areas of loss, heavy tears, creases, and marks. Jacket is slightly rubbed and marked overall. Owner's name to front flap.
