Good. [FIRST EDITION] New York: P. Covert, 1825. Hardcover in original 3/4 leather and marbled-paper covered boards (rubbed, edgeworn.) First American Edition. 216 pages. Lacks spine title label, inner hinges separated but holding, removed bookplate, some penciling (mostly to front paste-down / ffep), title page is clipped at top and bottom (removed ownership signatures), 19th Century ownership signature on next page. Small chip from front blank pages, other pages toned, etc. Overall, good condition of this RARE 1st Edition Title. (Thomas Feilding is the pseudonym of John Wade, 1788-1875.)
