Toronto: William Briggs, 1911. Hardcover. Very Good. 137 p. 20 cm. Green cloth hardcover with gold lettering. Signed by the author at top of title page. A little bleeding of the ink he used onto text block edge. The author, lecturer in constitutional history at King's College, Windsor, N.S., roams north of Lake Superior, moves to Winnipeg and Brandon, Regina and Calgary, the Rockies, Vancouver and Victoria, then heads south through the Shasta Route, San Francisco and the Angels, the desert, El Paso and San Antonio. A chapter is dedicated to the suggestion of a customs union for the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He then discusses sugar cane and cotton fields before again returning north through Chicago and Detroit.
