An exciting first person account of a little known but crucial covert mission in the early stages of the Korean war. Late in August 1950 Clark was sent on a covert mission to gather information on the areas surrounding Inchon in preparation for MacArthur’s plan to invade Inchon behind enemy lines. Along with two South Korean officers, Clarke landed on a harbor island but was quickly discovered by North Koreans and the information gathering quickly turned to combat. Like new in mylar covered dust jacket.
