About This Item

Hurst & Blackett, London, 1898. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing) - a sequel to the author's second book, published three years earlier. 8vo. 360pp + xvi publisher's catalogue at the rear. Green cloth lettered in gold at the spine and in black at the upper board. A knock to the tip of a single corner and just a hint of wear to the head and base of the backstrip. Some meagre spotting to the endpapers, and a small stain to the margins of two adjacent leaves. Front hinge just a little tender. Neat former owner name pencilled to a blank flyleaf. A nice, crisp copy..
