No dustwrapper, some scuffing and bumping to spine ends and corners of green boards, gilt ttiles on spine are faded but still readable, black titles on front board are still clear. Hinges just starting to split inside front and back covers, some yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a not too bad copy of this hard-cover book by the author of "Three Men in a Boat". Originally published in on August 17th 1898, this is a third printing from 1st November the same year. Twelve humorous essays by the author in the same style as his 1886 "Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow". 360pp plus 14pp adverts.. Third Impression.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
