Written by Philip Guedalla, an English barrister, travel writer, biographer, and historian. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and age toning to the endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Contemporary ink inscription to front pastedown. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
