London, England: Metheun & Co. Ltd. Very Good. 1933. Hardcover. Burgundy cloth covers, gilt titles to the spine and a gilt illustration of a lion on the front cover. A solid binding, the pages are clean and unmarked with some age tanning to them. Cover rubbing and wear to the spine ends and corners. A small tear on the top spine end. Maps to the end papers and a frontispiece with 21 black & white plats through the book. The frontispiece has ragged edges and has been taped back into the book. A very old newspaper clipping tucked into the front of the book. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 415 pages .
