The pages are in great condition - mostly clean and white with only a few random stains and ink smudges found; occasional tears found, most notably near the front of the book where larger horizontal tears appear starting at the outer edge (a few of the tears have been repaired with clear tape). Most (but not all) of the front covers have "St. Botolph Club" stamped in ink at the top edge. Overall the volume is in very good condition.
