Contains illustrated articles about Emperor Frederick's monument at Worth; ball bearings and rubber tires for carriages; the coinage of Rome by G. F. Hill; and the Jackson-Harmsworth polar expedition. Also, The Nitrogen of the Air as a Plant Food by George McGowan; a rational cure for snake bite; and English prisons. Scarce. In Very Good Condition: closed tear in masthead with small repair on reverse; first page and last are slightly rubbed and soiled; one horizontal fold; otherwise, clean and solid.
