Includes: "Sapho" by Alphonse Daudet and "Manon Lescaut" by Antoine François Prévost. Rendered into English from the French by unattributed translator(s). "Manon" with an introduction by Guy de Maupassant and prefatory notes by Prévost. --- In Toledano spine #4 / brown leatherette ("Croftleather") limp boards / gilt titling and decorations on spine / gilt torchbearer to front panel / yellow Bernhard endpapers / brown topstain. Likely published c.1927, though no date appears in book. Lacks the dust jacket.
