About This Item
The 1983 self published autobiography of a noted Jewish Russian singer of the mid-20th century who emigrated from Russia in 1914. Performing under the stage name of Rosa Rosalie, she helped to popularize the melody of Russian Lullaby by another Russian immigrant, Irving Berlin.
Later in life Gershon converted to Christianity and authored "From Opera Into the Mission Field (from Mt. Sinai to Mt. Calvary) the Conversion Story of a Russian Opera and Concert Singer".
Condition: Jacket is clean but with wear and tearing to the top of the spine and with abraded corners and general edgewear. The cloth covered boards are very clean and the gilt pristine. Pages are clean and bright with no marks.
