New York: Quadrangle Press, 1947. Cloth. Good. Red cloth. No jacket. Folio. 131 pages. Black and white illustrations throughout, along with Tipton color plates. A monograph on the art of Rufino Tamayo, a Mexican painter. Working in a combination of media, he infused cubism and surrealism with aspects of his native Mexican culture. Good condition. Heavy offsetting and fading along with spine and hinges, especially to the rear cover. Otherwise moderate uneven fading. Minor soiling and edgewear. Light toning in the interior.
