About This Item

Gallimard, 1947. First Edition. Hardcover. 208 pages. Translated by Magdeleine Paz. In a decorative, Joan Miro-esque binding by designer Mario Prassinos. This is one of 1040 copies on Alfa paper (there were also 110 copies on Lafuma-Navarre. First French edition (first printing). Light soiling and light edge wear, but overall very good or better. Lacking the publisher's glassine, as usual.
