Freeport, Maine:: Rebecca Goodale,, 2021.. Edition of 9. Ink stained Japanese papers, text printed in letterpress, images are all drypoints; accordion bound in cloth with clothbound clam shell box. Rebecca Goodale designed and bound this artist's book in her studio in Freeport, and she printed the imagery onto the pages at Circling the Square Press in Gardiner. Judson Merrill of Portland wrote the text. Scott Vile at Ascensius Press in Bar Mills designed and printed the letterpress text. Each book in this limited edition is signed and numbered by the artist and the writer. Rebecca Goodale: "This artist's book was inspired by the text. In response to the written word I created a vertically long long long book suggesting the deep Atlantic and the creatures that live there.
