Cream cloth-covered boards, four colour design and black titles on front and spine. Bumped spine ends and corners; cloth torn at spine ends where it meets rear board. Gilt text block top edge; remaining edges uncut. Significant wear and rubbing to boards; rear board heavily stained. Missing front free endpaper. Pages just starting to tan. Internally neat and clean. Binding relatively tight. No dust jacket; as issued. 8vo.
