Rizzoli, New York, 1993. First edition, first printing. In reflective metal box in publisher's shrink wrap and never opened. 10 x 12 inches box as issued by the publisher. Offered with the original back cover contents sheet. Metal box was designed in consultation with John Cage and keeping fully with the artist's philosophy so the box contains an exceptionally wide range of materials printed in different formats, often on translucent paper. Also included are writings and letters of John Cage with reproductions of work by Cage and others. Further including musical scores, recipes, photographs, as well as work by Joan Retallack, Marshall McLuhan Andrew Weil, D. T. Suzuki, and many others. A beautiful production.
