About This Item
Hardcover first edition with dust jacket, published by Houghton Mifflin, 1993. From the author of 'A Book of One's Own', Mallon travels across the United States to experience a variety of events; rodeo, political campaigns, an auction, rocket launch, a commemoration at the Pearl Harbor Memorial and much more. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks. Mustard colored boards over black cloth covered spine with the author and title imprinted on the spine in gold. Boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased. Sewn binding is tight and square, no edge wear. Edges of the text block are relatively clean with just a few age tanning spots to the edges. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
