About This Item
Rutland: Charles E. Tuttle Co, 1969. Hardcover. 8vo. Blue cloth spine with gilt spine lettering and color plate on front board. (49pp). Numerous illustrations. Fine. First of this modern edition, a facsimile of the 1912 true first edition. This delightful novelty book begins in the basement of a large apartment building, where a "bad kid" sets off a rocket that streaks straight up through twenty-one flats -- and a die-cut oval hole through every page is worked into every illustration.
