About This Item
Boston: Little, Brown & Co, 1931. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardcover in red boards. No dust jacket. Second printing. SIGNED and dated on front endpage by the author, a prolific writer and journalist who, among her many progressive activities, confounded the Cooperative Campers of the Pacific Northwest in 1916, in an effort to make Mt. Rainier National Park accessible to Seattle's working class. This book chronicles Strong's land route over Asia to India. The last few pages have faint water staining. The book is otherwise clean and sturdy. Illustrated with photos and one drawn map showing the route Strong took. 8vo. 289 pp.
