Exterior shows scuffing and handling wear along with edge and corner bumps. Bottom of spine has piece missing as well. Interior pages are tone due to age and foxing is present throughout. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings present. Tissue guard is still present in attached the frontispiece though over the decades it shows an imprint of the illustration. Full title reads as: "The river of the West.
