Ithaca, NY: Epoch Associates, 1960. First printing. 64 pp., 6 x 9 inches. Saddle-stapled into printed card covers. Pages numbered continuously through each volume; in this instance constituting pages 67-128 of Volume X. Slight age-toning and soiling to edges of covers, and a tiny bump to the lower corner, still a fine, bright copy.
Don DeLillos first appearance in print, a short story, in a literary quarterly published by the Cornell University English Department, where it occupies pages 105-120, preceding his first novel by eleven years. Editors of the magazine at the time included Morris Bishop, James McConkey, and Forrest Read.
Extremely scarce, especially in collectible condition.
